Abba Eban

Born Aubrey Solomon Eban in Cape Town, South Africa, he grew up in England, excelling in his studies at Cambridge and mastering several languages. However, his future wasn't in dusty academic halls; instead, it lay in the fledgling Jewish state, where he quickly became an indispensable voice.

Eban served as Israel's first ambassador to the United Nations and later to the United States, becoming known for his elegant rhetoric and tireless advocacy for his nation.
