Alan Turing, while undeniably brilliant and instrumental in winning World War II, was not, to our exhaustive (and frankly, exhausting) research, Jewish. It seems his primary concerns were numbers, algorithms, and the rather pressing matter of defeating the Nazis, not davening.

His groundbreaking work at Bletchley Park, cracking the seemingly unbreakable Enigma code, saved countless lives and significantly shortened the war. One could argue that this act, an indirect blow against genocidal antisemitism, was kvell-worthy on a universal scale, even if Turing himself wasn't operating from a specifically Jewish framework.

After the war, his contributions to computer science laid the foundation for the digital age we now mostly take for granted. Unfortunately, his brilliance didn't protect him from the prejudice of the era, leading to a tragic end. A truly mensch-like figure, even if he didn't technically qualify as a mensch.
