Baylon Spector
Buffalo Bills linebacker Baylon Spector, who is most notable for his wife trying — and failing — to start a beef with Taylor Swift (meaning both he and his wife are not notable at all) has a mystery trapped in an enigma wrapped in a conundrum. No, not the man himself. Just look at him. Everything is pretty obvious there. It's his tattoo.
Now, obviously, every goyishe jock in America has at least one nonsensical tattoo. But when they turn to Hebrew, they usually go for the Jewish star, or that old stand-by, Jesus. Here we have something else... And we just can't figure it out, even with help from those fluent in Hebrew!
The tattoo spells out "Ha-Avera", which can be translated to "the sin" or "the foul". The former is... okay, not exactly something one wants to advertise, and the latter does apply to sport, but... is that really something one wants to be proud of?
Of course, being Hebrew, the vowels are missing, so it can also mean "He-Evira", which can correspond to "she gave somebody else something" or "checked a test and gave somebody a passing grade". We're gonna go with that last one. Clearly, Baylon wanted to celebrate that rare occurrence of academic prowess!
There is another mystery here. The last name Spector tends to be rather Jewy. As it turns out, this meathead had a Jewish grandfather.
Let's hope the tattoo is not a tribute.
