Georges Clemenceau, a towering figure in French politics, earned the nickname "The Tiger" for his fierce determination and unyielding resolve. He was a physician, journalist, and eventually Prime Minister of France, guiding the nation through the crucible of World War I. His relentless pursuit of victory cemented his place in history, securing him a high score in Kvell-worthiness for any nation that wasn't Germany.

However, despite his impressive political prowess and a certain, shall we say, robust debating style that might lead one to suspect otherwise, Clemenceau was not Jewish. Born into a staunchly republican and anti-clerical family in Vendée, France, his background was as French as a baguette. There are no credible sources suggesting any Jewish ancestry, identity, or even a fleeting thought about joining a synagogue.

His secular, Jacobin roots were firmly planted in the French soil, far from any shtetl or Sephardic lineage. While he was a staunch defender of Dreyfus, this was more a testament to his republican ideals of justice rather than any personal identification with Jewish suffering. It seems some tigers are just tigers, and not, in fact, Crypto-Jews.
