Daniel Kaluuya, the British actor who shot to international fame with his unsettling role in "Get Out," has consistently delivered performances that leave audiences (and presumably, casting directors) wondering what he'll do next. From the Marvel Universe to historical dramas, he’s proven his range is as wide as the Atlantic.

Born in London to Ugandan parents, Kaluuya's heritage is decidedly not of the Abrahamic persuasion. He's spoken about his upbringing and experiences, none of which seem to involve synagogue attendance or a particularly strong affinity for gefilte fish.

While his powerful portrayals of complex characters certainly bring an undeniable "kvell" to his fans, there's no indication that this kvelling is happening in Jewish households due to any shared lineage or cultural ties. Unless, of course, you count the universal kvell for a compelling cinematic performance.

So, while we're all collectively impressed by his work, we can safely say that any yarmulke appearances by Kaluuya are strictly for character development, not personal practice.
