Fred Hampton was a dynamic and influential figure in the Black Panther Party, known for his charismatic leadership and powerful oratory. He rose to prominence as the chairman of the Illinois chapter, advocating for self-determination, community empowerment, and the fight against police brutality.

Hampton's vision extended beyond racial lines, famously organizing the original 'Rainbow Coalition' to unite various oppressed groups—including white working-class youths and Puerto Rican activists—against common adversaries. This cross-cultural alliance was a testament to his belief in collective liberation.

His activism, however, made him a target. In a highly controversial and tragic event, Hampton was assassinated by Chicago police and the FBI during a raid in December 1969, an act widely regarded as politically motivated.

While Hampton fought for universal liberation and was certainly a force for change, his roots and identity were firmly within the African American community, with no discernible connection to anything Semitic. A fine revolutionary, but decidedly not one of ours.
