
Fredric Arnold
As of this writing, Fredric Arnold doesn't have a Wikipedia page. Quite an oversight, considering everyone with fifteen minutes of fame gets one! Perhaps Arnold wasn't exactly famous, but he had quite a career.
Military pilot, sculptor, businessman, writer, inventor, actor... Let's talk about the last two.
Arnold invented the aluminum folding chair. Yes, the scourge of every school auditorium (or, if you desire a positive image, a useful item for every beach vacation). Invented by Arnold in 1947! At the peak, his company produced 14,000 folding chairs per day.
Arnold starred in "Naked Gun". (Not the new one, the vastly superior original.) Alright, maybe "starred" is not exactly the right word, as he's got a grand total of three lines. He is this guy:
