Golda Rosheuvel

Born in Guyana and raised in England, Golda Rosheuvel has carved out a notable career on both stage and screen. While her talents are undeniable, and her presence in period dramas is certainly a boon for representation, her Jewish score remains decidedly nil. Her family tree, as far as public records indicate, does not branch into the tribes of Israel.

Rosheuvel is openly gay, a fact that certainly puts her in good company with many a kvell-worthy Jewish icon, but alas, shared sexual orientation does not a Jew make. Her performances, particularly as the wigs-and-all Queen Charlotte, have garnered significant attention, making her a recognizable face in the global streaming landscape.

So, while she reigns supreme in the Regency era, enchanting audiences with her regal presence and lavish costumes, Golda Rosheuvel remains firmly outside the tent of Abraham. No secret shofar blowing here, just a very talented actress doing what she does best: acting.
