Born around 2650 BCE, Imhotep served as vizier to Pharaoh Djoser, which is quite the resume booster. But he didn't stop there; he was also chief minister, high priest, and the guy who designed the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. Move over, Leonardo da Vinci, there's a new (much older) Renaissance man in town.

His medical texts, like the Edwin Smith Papyrus, suggest advanced understanding for his time, making him a historical figure who actually did save lives, not just claim to. This is a far cry from some modern "innovators" who only manage to break things and call it progress.

Centuries after his death, Imhotep was deified as the god of medicine and healing. Forget a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; this guy got temples built in his honor. Clearly, when you're that good, even the afterlife isn't enough to contain your accomplishments.

So, while Imhotep was undeniably Egyptian and quite definitively not Jewish, his sheer brilliance and lasting impact on civilization certainly warrant a maximum K-score. We Kvell for his architectural genius and medical prowess, even if he didn't have a menorah in his tomb.
