Jewish girls of America! Why aren't you playing soccer?

With the profile of the women's league, NWSL, rising, we really wanted to profile a Jewish player. We couldn't find any among the current rosters! (No, not on the roster of the Kansas City... Current.) Not one! Sure, there might be one hiding behind a goyishe last name, and if there is one, please let us know!

We did find two former Jewish NWSL players: previously-profiled Yael Averbuch, who is now the GM of Gotham FC, and Camille Ashton (Hiding behind a goyishe last name! Maiden name: Levin), who is now GM of the San Diego Wave. Come to think of it, the current commissioner of the NWSL, Jessica Berman, is Jewish as well, adding her name to the always-padded list of Jewish sport commissioners... But she was never a player.

So maybe that's why you're not playing soccer...
