Juan Carlos Alfonso Víctor María de Borbón y Borbón-Dos Sicilias, better known as Juan Carlos I, ruled as King of Spain from 1975 to 2014. His reign marked Spain's transition from dictatorship to democracy, a feat for which he is largely credited. Despite his monumental role in modern Spanish history, it's safe to say his Jewish bona fides are, shall we say, non-existent. Like, Mount Everest-level non-existent.
