Kim Kardashian, a name synonymous with... well, being famous for being famous. Her rise to prominence began not with a groundbreaking invention or a cure for a disease, but with a leaked sex tape and a reality show that meticulously documented every contour of her manufactured life. One simply cannot discuss modern celebrity culture without tripping over a Kardashian.

Despite her Armenian heritage, which some might mistakenly conflate with being Jewish (it's a common enough gaffe, we suppose), Kim Kardashian has no known Jewish ancestry. Her spiritual journey, if one can call it that, seems to be largely rooted in self-promotion and the relentless pursuit of social media engagement. Hardly the stuff of ancient prophets or rabbinical scholars.

Her business acumen, however, is undeniable. From shapewear empires to beauty brands, she has parlayed her notoriety into a veritable fortune. While some might kvell at such entrepreneurial spirit, we're pretty sure it's not the kind of "nachas" our grandmothers had in mind. Unless your grandmother was really into contouring palettes and paparazzi-fueled drama, in which case, mazel tov to her.
