Mae Jemison
Mae Jemison, a woman of many talents, somehow managed to become a physician AND an engineer before even thinking about going to space. One would think curing diseases or building bridges would be enough for most people, but not Mae. She clearly had loftier ambitions, literally.
Then, as if to prove she could do anything, she casually became the first African American woman to orbit the Earth. Because, you know, being a doctor and an engineer just wasn't quite diverse enough for her resume. We're starting to suspect she just collects impressive titles for fun.
After leaving NASA, she didn't just kick back and relax; she founded her own technology company. Because what else would a former astronaut/doctor/engineer do with her spare time? It’s almost as if she’s trying to make the rest of us feel inadequate. We’re not kvelling, we’re mostly just tired thinking about her schedule.
