Miranda Lambert
Miranda Lambert, born in Longview, Texas, has carved out a massively successful career in country music. Known for her strong vocals and feisty persona, she's become one of the genre's most celebrated artists, collecting a staggering number of awards along the way.
While her songs often touch on themes of small-town life, heartbreak, and resilience, there's nary a menorah or a mention of matzo balls in her discography. Her style is pure honky-tonk, with not even a subtle klezmer influence to be found.
Despite her undeniable talent and numerous accolades, there's absolutely nothing to suggest any Jewish heritage or personal identification. She's about as Jewish as a cowboy hat with rhinestones, which is to say, not at all, unless those rhinestones spell out "Chai" in a very abstract way.
