Odessa A'zion

This award season, there is some talk about Pamela Adlon's daughter, who came out of nowhere to to grab the headlines. Wait, didn't we just do this profile a year ago?

Pardon the confusion! Last year's eventual Oscar winner was Mikey Madison, who PLAYED Adlon's daughter on "Better Things". This year's starlet is the star of "Marty Supreme" (and, on TV, "I Love LA"), Odessa A'zion, who is Adlon's REAL daughter. Real name? Odessa Zion Segall Aldon.

Of course, "Better Things" mirrored Adlon's real life, which means that her three fake Jewish daughters were based on her three real Jewish daughters. Mikey played the eldest, named Maxine on the show, but Gideon in real life. (And Gideon looks exactly like Mikey! We're not really trying to clear up the confusion, are we?)

In any case, Odessa is the middle child (Hannah Alligood, Frankie on the show), and then there is the youngest, Rocky (Olivia Edward / Duke), who hasn't exactly broken through in either of her incarnations.
