Randall Park, a man of many talents, has graced our screens with his comedic timing and dramatic prowess. Born in Los Angeles, to Korean immigrants, he's certainly made a name for himself in Hollywood, which is no small feat in an industry that often struggles with diversity.

While he's played a variety of characters, from Kim Jong-un to an architect, none of them have, to our knowledge, dabbled in pastrami on rye or celebrated Hanukkah. His upbringing appears to be distinctly secular Korean-American, which, while culturally rich, doesn't exactly scream "Jew by choice."

His most kvell-worthy achievement might be starring as the patriarch of a Taiwanese-American family in "Fresh Off the Boat," a show that broke barriers and brought much-needed representation to network television. One could argue that any actor who successfully portrays an immigrant experience, even if it's not a Jewish one, contributes to a broader understanding of the human condition. And for that, we can certainly give him some credit, even if it's not precisely "nachas."
