Reid Wiseman

We're back with Tzimmes of the Month! You remember Tzimmes of the Month, don't you!? We debuted it last October in the profile of Benny Blanco that used so many exclamation points that it gave us a headache! Let's cut that out right now.

For those who don't remember, Tzimmes of the Month is a profile of someone who all of a sudden floods our suggestion box. Last October, Mr. Blanco got married to Selena Gomez. This April, all of the sudden our readers want to know about the potential Jewishness of someone named Reid Weisman... which pop starlet is he involved with?

It turns out that Wiseman's sudden popularity is of a different flavor. He is the commander of Artemis II, the first crewed spaceship to go near the moon since 1972. Alas, despite the Wise- and the -man, Wiseman is goyishe. (So is crew member Christina Koch, but that first name was a dead giveaway.)

And in case you are wondering if Wiseman is married to a starlet... He is not. In fact, his wife died in 2020.

Tzimmes of the Month just took a downturn... Good thing we got rid of the extraneous exclamation points.
