Roshika Parker

Roshika Parker hails from South Africa, where she's made a name for herself in environmental circles and, eventually, in the political arena. Her career trajectory involves a good deal of public service and advocating for a greener tomorrow, which, while commendable, doesn't exactly scream 'synagogue on Saturday.'

As a prominent member of the Democratic Alliance, Parker holds a seat in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. Her focus on environmental issues has earned her recognition, albeit not the kind that would lead to a spirited debate about gefilte fish or the finer points of Talmudic law.

Despite her interesting and impactful career, Ms. Parker appears to be entirely devoid of any discernible Jewish identity or origin. Her achievements, while beneficial to South Africa, don't quite fit the mold of bringing nachas to the Tribe, unless, of course, you count a cleaner environment as a universal Jewish value, which, to be fair, it probably is.
