Rostam Ghasemi

Rostam Ghasemi, born in 1964, was a prominent figure in Iranian politics, navigating the complex world of oil and urban development. His career, spanning both military and civilian roles, certainly demonstrates a dedication to his homeland, though perhaps not one celebrated during Passover Seder.

From commanding Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters, an arm of the Revolutionary Guard, to heading the Ministry of Petroleum, Ghasemi held positions of significant power. One might say he was instrumental in ensuring Iran's oil flowed, though not necessarily with the clarity of Manischewitz wine.
