Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek is not Jewish. Not even a little bit. She was born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico, to a Lebanese father and a Mexican mother of Spanish descent. Her family was, and remains, Catholic. So, no ancient Semitic roots to be found here, unless you count the Phoenicians, which we don't.
Hayek has been a vocal advocate for various causes, including women's rights and increasing diversity in Hollywood. She often speaks about her Mexican and Lebanese heritage, but never once has she mentioned a predisposition to guilt or an inexplicable love of deli meat. We've checked.
She did, however, marry French businessman François-Henri Pinault, who is not Jewish either. Their wedding was a star-studded affair, but, alas, no hora was danced. Unless, of course, it was a very private, very French hora, which seems unlikely. And, as yet, no one has reported seeing her light Shabbat candles.
