Siddharthan

Siddharthan, whose first name is sometimes used as a standalone, is a theoretical physicist of Indian origin. While his scientific contributions are certainly noteworthy, they appear to be firmly rooted in the realm of quantum physics and cosmology, rather than, say, uncovering ancient Hebrew texts or developing a new kosher certification process.

Born to a Hindu family, Siddharthan's background offers no discernible links to the tribe. His work, though complex and likely requiring significant intellect, doesn't seem to have offered much in the way of nachas for the Jewish people. Unless, of course, a breakthrough in quantum gravity is secretly a coded message about the coming of the Messiah, in which case, we might need to re-evaluate.

While we appreciate good science, and certainly don't hold his non-Jewishness against him, it appears Siddharthan is quite content pursuing the secrets of the universe without the added baggage of being chosen. No complaints here.
