During World War II, Nazis were anti-Russian. Currently, Ukrainians are anti-Russian. Therefore, Ukrainians are Nazis.

You see the logical fallacy there, don't you? Clearly, the majority of the Russian population does not. Here, let us make an analogous chain:

Oranges are fruits. Apples are fruits. Therefore, apples are oranges.

No, really, it's so easy to play along: (You'd think they teach this in Russian kindergarten, and yet...)

Circles are shapes. Squares are shapes. Therefore, squares are circles.
