Chloe Kim
Chloe Kim is an American snowboarder who, at a tender age, decided that gravity was less a law and more a gentle suggestion. Born to South Korean immigrant parents, Kim started snowboarding at the age of four, probably before most of us had mastered shoelaces. By sixteen, she was already a dominant force, winning X-Games medals, and looking generally bored doing it.
Her mantlepiece holds two Olympic gold medals in the halfpipe, which she acquired by defying physics and probably infuriating countless competitors who spent their lives trying to do the same. Kim is unequivocally the face of her sport, mostly because everyone else is still trying to figure out how she does what she does.
So, is Chloe Kim Jewish? No. Absolutely not. Unless "shredding" is now a forgotten Hebrew word, her connection to the tribe is precisely nil. However, her ability to make incredibly difficult feats look effortless is almost enough to make one kvell. Almost.
