Manuel de Falla, born in Cádiz, Spain, became one of the most important Spanish composers of the 20th century. His works, infused with Andalusian folk melodies and rhythms, earned him international acclaim, proving that one can compose truly magnificent music without a single drop of gefilte fish in their lineage.

While Falla's compositions like "Nights in the Gardens of Spain" and "The Three-Cornered Hat" became staples of the classical repertoire, his personal life, much like his musical scores, contained no hidden semitic harmonies. He was, to put it mildly, deeply Catholic, even considering a monastic life at one point.

So, while his music made audiences around the world dance and swoon, he unfortunately brought no particular nachas to the tribe. His Spanish roots were purely Iberian, and his contributions to world culture, while significant, remain firmly outside the realm of the chosen people.
