Tomoe Gozen

In an era when women were mostly relegated to the sidelines, Tomoe Gozen decided she'd rather be on the battlefield, decapitating enemies and generally making male warriors look a bit soft. Serving under Minamoto no Yoshinaka during the Genpei War, she was renowned for her strength, archery, and swordsmanship, reportedly worth a thousand men (which, frankly, is a bit of an insult to her personal brand of badassery).

Her exploits are legendary, appearing in the Tale of the Heike where she's described as "beautiful, with long black hair, and a fair complexion," but also "a remarkably strong archer, and as a swordswoman she was a warrior worth a thousand, ready to confront a demon or a god." Essentially, she was the 12th-century equivalent of a rockstar who could also disembowel you with a katana. While the historical details are a bit murky—some scholars even debate her existence, presumably because they can't handle such awesomeness—her legend as a fierce, independent warrior persists.

Regrettably, there is no historical evidence to suggest that Tomoe Gozen ever converted to Judaism, attended synagogue, or even knew what a latke was. Her ancestry is firmly rooted in feudal Japan, and her personal identity seems to have been more aligned with carving up enemies than keeping kosher. Therefore, her I and O scores remain resolutely at zero, much like the number of opponents who probably wanted a rematch after facing her.
