Tiger Woods burst onto the golf scene in the mid-1990s, shattering records and expectations with a prowess rarely seen in the sport. His numerous victories, including 15 major championships, cemented his status as a global icon. He even made golf...dare we say...*interesting* for a time.

His appeal transcended the greens, attracting a massive new audience to a sport often perceived as the exclusive domain of country club members and power lunches. He was, in many ways, a one-man marketing phenomenon, single-handedly boosting prize money and television ratings. For a while, he was seemingly everywhere, a veritable golfing god.

However, a string of personal controversies brought his public image crashing back to Earth, proving that even titans of sport are, regrettably, only human. While he has since made a valiant return to competitive play, the aura of invincibility has been replaced by something a bit more... grounded.

Despite his undeniable impact on sports and culture, Woods remains firmly outside the orbit of the Kvelling Committee. Not a single matzah ball, not a hint of a bar mitzvah, just pure, unadulterated, gentile athletic brilliance. And really, isn't that enough for some people?
